Time to Unpack, 2024 – glazed ceramic plate

Drawing on inspiration from old English delft and slipware, these plates are made to share intimate anecdotes, thoughts and memories. I have chosen to use an everyday household object as the format to tell these stories because they are something we would see or interact with daily. To me this makes the plate an intimate device to tell intimate stories.
